are only 17 Deputies, Five Detectives, 14 Detention Officers, One Victim
Advocate, and three Administrative Assistants employed in a full-time status.
The remaining complement of personnel are either part-time,
administrative, medical or inactive officers whose certifications are being held
by the Sheriff's Office. Law requires that these officers be listed on the
Sheriff's Office payroll in order to maintain their law enforcement
certifications.
